Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026

By using InnerHue, you agree to the terms below. Please read them.

What InnerHue is

InnerHue is a personal journaling app that lets you record your mood and thoughts, and generates an AI reflection in response to what you write. It's a self-reflection tool, not a professional service.

Not medical or mental health advice

InnerHue and its AI reflections are not therapy, counseling, medical advice, or a diagnostic tool, and are not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or a medical emergency, please contact a crisis line, medical professional, or emergency services in your area — not this app.

Who can use InnerHue

InnerHue is intended for adults. By using it, you confirm you meet the minimum age required by law in your location to use online services like this one.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that's how you sign in. Let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Your content

What you write remains yours. By using InnerHue, you allow us to store your entries and send them to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate a reflection, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Don't use InnerHue to store or share content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else's rights.

No guarantees

InnerHue is provided "as is." AI reflections are generated automatically and may sometimes be inaccurate, generic, or not what you expected — they are not verified or reviewed by a person before you see them. We don't guarantee the app will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted, particularly as it's an early-stage project.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, InnerHue and its operators aren't liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of the app, including reliance on an AI reflection. Use your own judgment, and consult a professional for anything serious.

Changes to the service or these terms

InnerHue is an evolving, early-stage project. Features, availability, and these terms may change as it develops. We'll update the date at the top of this page when terms change meaningfully.

Ending your use

You can stop using InnerHue at any time. Contact us if you'd like your account or data removed.

This is a general terms template for an early-stage personal project, not legal advice. If InnerHue grows into a wider public product, these terms should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer.
